Passive method enabling real-time 3D measurement uses (stereo triangulation mapping)
This system differs from the active method (light cutting, phase shift, etc.) and provides continuous high-speed 3D measurement, enabling use in a wide range of applications.
High speed, high accuracy, highly versatile 3D measurement camera
Used for robot vision, monitoring, object identification, and various other applications.
Image processing are performed internally in the camera, thereby enabling high speed output of highly accurate 3D data in real-time. The RICOH SV-M-S1 will simultaneously output both the parallax image and a brightness image allowing it to be used not only for 3D matching but also 2D matching utilizing brightness information and other applications. (Separate recognition software is required.)
High illumination LED lighting projector for stereo camera to support high speed, highly accurate 3D measurement
This dedicated lighting enhances the performance of the RICOH SV-M-S1 stereo camera for high speed recognition. It ensures high-accuracy 3D measurement even in environments with disturbance light.
A cable for connecting the light-emitting part to the power supply is provided as an attachment.
Choose from the following three types according to the system installation conditions.
|High illumination LED Lighting Projector (includes 1-m connection cable)||SL-M-LE-01|
|High illumination LED Lighting Projector (includes 5-m connection cable)||SL-M-LE-05|
|High illumination LED Lighting Projector (includes 10-m connection cable)||SL-M-LE-10|
The stereo camera calculates the 3D data from the brightness information of the subject. Illuminating the subject with a random pattern of light enables highly accurate 3D data of the subject surface to be obtained. With the highly accurate 3D data, the matching accuracy, such as recognition processing, can be improved.
Combining a 3D vision sensor industrial stereo camera with high illumination LED lighting projector for 3D measurement to support reliable operation of various systems
Usage scene 1: Robotic pick & place system
The use of a highly accurate stereo camera enables correct recognition of the position of parts for a reliable robotic pick & place system.
Usage scene 2: Equipment control monitoring system
The use of a stereo camera enables 3D data to be obtained for real-time monitoring and control of the equipment environment. For example, this can be used in an application to determine the load from the height of supplied materials and automatically control the belt conveyor and stage.
The camera, lighting, and robot can all be controlled from computer software. Measurement settings can be configured according to the purpose and environment
